MK Urban Food is a stationary taco truck parked on Maddox Blvd in Chincoteague, and we cook for people who care about how their food tastes. Our kitchen runs on simple ideas done well: slow-simmered meat, warm tortillas, and salsas made in-house. We started with tacos and never lost sight of them, which is why folks keep coming back for the birria tacos that get dunked in rich consomé before they hit the griddle. When you stop by, you will find more than one thing worth ordering. We serve up classic tacos alongside birria tacos, grilled shrimp skewers seasoned and cooked to order, and sides like chips and guac and chips and salsa that are made to share. As a mexican food truck, we lean into big flavor without the fuss, and we keep the menu tight so everything comes out right. If you want a panini instead, we can put together something hot and pressed too. We also stay open late, which makes us an easy stop for anyone leaving the local bars and looking for something better than a vending machine. If you would rather stay put, we are on doordash for delivery around town. Beyond the truck window, we handle catering service for gatherings big and small, and we take on private event catering when you want tacos at a wedding, a birthday, or a company party.
