This little place was an excellent surprise once you get past the confusion about the name and realize it is the spot to find the birria tacos that are mentioned on this easily spotted sign along the road. You are greeted with a smile and excellent food. May take a little while but you can hear it is freshly made on the spot.

We have a 2nd home on the island, but yesterday was the first time we’ve tried MK Urban Foods. It was so good that we went back today! Incredible food and wonderful people. In fact, my wife said that the Shrimp Skewers are the best thing she’s eaten on the island, and that’s saying something, because all the food in Chincoteague is amazing.
